Matatu trends

This article on the Christian Science Monitor today discusses the latest trend of Nairobi's matatus (public mini-buses).  Generally, matatus are painted/decorated with words and images that range from political to religious to hip-hop themes.  The article discusses how lately, matatus have been fronting Luis-Moreno Ocampo, the Prosecutor for the ICC, on their vehicles, suspectedly as a threat to the Kenyan government to get their act together.  But, my favorite themes are those of total nonsense--like this list of matatu phrases I observed last year while in Nairobi:

POPSICLE
DOCKERS
HAPPINESS
UMBRELLA
STUNTIN' LIKE YOUR DADDY
BURAQ
HOT WAX

If that's not making a statement, I don't know what is. Who's tough? The guy who has "popsicle" written in dripping blood font across his windshield.
